Just an update on the plans Sony has for a paid, "premium" version of the PSN. (From what I've gathered, think Xbox Live Gold accounts.) Andrew House, President of SCEA Europe, stated that in the near future we'll be hearing about the new service for PSN.
Another thing he touches on is the transition to 3D gaming. I've personally heard a lot of complaints that people don't want to spend money on expensive 3D televisions just for games. House responded thusly:
"...[W]e feel that it is our responsibility to offer all consumers a choice. If you want to spend the money on a new 3D TV, then we will provide you with 3D content to play."
It looks like Sony is also looking at other features, like cross-game chat. Its nice to know that consoles will finally have something that made PC gaming attractive to me for years.
