Kinect? $150? Outrageous!

So it was announced by the official Microsoft website that the Kinect will cost $150.

So their shitty peripheral is going to cost $50 less than a full console (if you can call the Wii that, I guess). Sony's peripheral looks like so much more fun, and it costs $30 less than it (and that's with the full bundle)!

Remember how excited I was for all the motion controller? Well after E3, I put a reserve down at Gamestop on the Move, but not the Kinect.

With all of the negative media surrounding Microsoft after E3, I can't see 3rd/4th quarter of 2010 and 2011 being the best times for Microsoft.
