EA's servers are 400% higher in demand than expected

The Boss VG team is loving the shit out of Bad Company 2 at the moment, at least when we are able to play it.

Although the servers were restarted yesterday and optimized, they have today suffered from further outages that also took the Xbox 360 servers offline completely. The only platform that is not having problems is the PS3.

You’ll be pleased to know that teams are actively diagnosing issues and solutions, as well as additional services being employed to alleviate the current load as any problems occur.

Even though EA had a massive infrastructure set up for Bad Company 2, the peak traffic has risen to 400% higher than any previous peak amount on other Battlefield titles. That's a pretty big fucking percentage.
