EA thinks Star Wars MMO could get 2 mil subscriptions

EA has said that their upcoming Star Wars MMO is the "largest ever development project, period, in the history of the company,” and it's quite clear that expectations for this title are huge.

Because of the huge cost of development EA is hoping to attract 2 million subscribers. And an analyst said that EA will need a little over 1 million subscribers to reach the break even point.

Everyone here at Boss Video Gaming knows how MMO's start out. They start off by selling extremely well, and report big subscription numbers. Until the second month rolls around and they lose 500k subs. An MMO developed by Bioware is going to draw a huge crowd, not to mention its based on the Star Wars franchise. But how many players will stay?
