Pinkeye 007 (I'll continue to use that headline for this game)

So over at Kotaku, they sat down with a rep for the Goldeneye 007 wiimake, and asked a lot of questions specific to the Wii version of the game, and how the multiplayer is the same, or whether certain aspects that fans loved so much would be changed.

They started off by asking about DK Mode. For those of you not familiar with it, DK mode was where you would get a big head and big arms, much like Donkey Kong. The representative confirmed that the mode would NOT make an appearance in this game.

This may have something to do with the fact that DK (Donkey Kong)was an IP handled by Rare at the time. Then again, I don't see why this has any impact on a NINTENDO game having a mode referencing a NINTENDO character. I mean, even though Rare is now gone over and become assbuddies with Microsoft, Donkey Kong is still a Nintendo exclusive character.

I think this is just Activision being lazy, because this is a Wii game.

And guess what other mode isn't returning? Big Head mode. This was a big staple in multiplayer games in both the 90's and early 2000's. I shouldn't even have to explain this one.

Instead, what you'll get is Big ARM mode. Basically this makes everyone have extremely big arms, and turns it into a melee-only game.

Yeah...sounds as fun as a barrel of...well it can't be monkeys...

One classic mode that WILL be returning is Tiny Bond mode, which basically shrinks everyone. This mode has been renamed "Nick Nack Mode". Yeah, sounds pretty gay.

Excuse me when I go ponder how not-successful this game will be.
