The screenshot you see above is one out of the next four games that Double Fine studios, the developers behind Brutal Legends and Psychnauts (led by Tim Schaufer) will be releasing this game, called Costume Quest. Your character, a candy-hungry child, is trying to find his sister (who was kidnapped by monsters) on Halloween. When you put on a costume, you transform into the creature, as you can see in the picture with the Knight, you can also be the giant robot, among other costumes. This definitely has potential to be one another interesting Double Fine game.
It would be pretty fun to have some sort of system for creating your own costume, or acquiring a large slew of different costumes through various means (kind of like how the old Monster Hunter games used to read music CD's and produce new monsters). The game is set for release on both XBLA and the Playstation Network on (you guessed it) October 31st.
I'm looking forward to it. Double Fine studios is responsible for some pretty witty and fun games, and I'm sure this will be no exception.
